Sustainability requires a balance between ecological, economical, and social dimensions. Equilibrium is committed to promoting sustainability in our community. Our approach of supporting and encouraging our clients to engage in physical activity in the outdoors promotes the ecological dimension of sustainability and supports the conservation of green space.

Furthermore, a diverse set of locally owned and operated businesses is a key component of economic sustainability. As a local business that supports other local community organizations, we are proud to contribute to the economic sustainability of the Greater Victoria area and feel it is our responsibility to do our share to strengthen the social component of our sustainable community. With this in mind, we have the commitment of donating 1% of our yearly sales to Power To Be.

Power To Be was founded on its mission to enrich the health, education and quality of life for vulnerable youth, adults, families and the communities in which they belong.  They achieve this by providing a unique and inclusive year-round outdoor education curriculum that promotes physical heath and emotional well-being, advocates for accessibility, develops interpersonal and leadership skills, teaches environmental and social stewardship, offers peer mentorship and supports vocational opportunities.
