Two months before my 40th birthday, my doctor told me I was morbidly obese, seriously at risk for type 2 diabetes and stroke; she told me to find a personal trainer and do something. As I left her office, I cried. I hated exercise and especially gyms…too many mirrors, too many fit people. Then I found Equilibrium!
After training with Mylene for only a short time now, I love my workouts and hate to miss them. I feel alive, energetic and hopeful. Everyone in my life has notice the change in my outlook and body. I know I have a long road ahead of me but I feel with Mylene’s skills, energy and encouragement I am on my way to physical, mental and emotional balance. I started working out with Mylene of Equilibrium Fitness four years ago when my fitness level was in a big slump. I was bored of my gym workout that didn't change or give me the results I was looking for. When I started working out with Mylene we discussed what my fitness goals were and what type of program I would like. She has surpassed my expectations! My workouts are always challenging, interesting, fun, exciting and of course give me great results in my fitness and weight loss plan. Mylene's program's challenge my brain as well as my body. Just as my body and brain have started to get used to a workout, she changes it up! Always keeping it interesting and fun! Mylene's training style is a balance of slightly pushing me out of my comfort zone (when I need it) and easing back when I've been injuryed or phsyically challenged. She is great at reading your body, mood and strength for that day. I would highly recommed Mylene as a trainer, she has done amazing things for my health and fitness level!
My biggest accomplishment in participating in Equilibrium training program is that I fell in love with working out! It is really nothing like what you think, even in undesirable weather, I have fun. I would challenge you to come with me, just once, and see what Equilibrium can do for you. Mylene is helping me not only with the workouts outdoors but with food portions and at home tips to get fit. I absolutely love this type of training.
